The Shree Lakshmi Venkateshwara Temple stands in Gabbur, in Devadurga taluk of Raichur district, Karnataka. Facing north, it is situated on the banks of Yelubavi Pushkarini.
The temple history shared for this website dates its construction to 1213 AD, during the reign of King Singhana of the Seuna dynasty, also known as the Devagiri Yadavas. The surrounding region was historically known as Ededore Nadu.
